Volcanoes Around The World
Walt (google maps): through finding out about volcanoes around the world to pin on a map, we are learning to make meaning of a range of texts by identifying main ideas in them and then translating the information and ideas that we learn into our own words.
With this task we were learning to pin volcsnoes on our google map and attach information that we had found. We used google maps as our tool to help us with this.
What I learnt from this activity was that Lake Taupo is a super volcano called a caldera. Lake Taupo made a desert road when it blew up.
