Today on Friday 24th April at assembly we commemorate anzac day every year on April 25th and at assembly we saw some footage of the real war and how it was there were 8,000 men that fighted for us most of them died about half of them and our class went to assembly.
Those men were very brave and most people would be proud of what they had done and after assembly we went to see some crosses of the people died the war had been going on for 4 years the soldiers thought that the war would end very fast but it didn’t they thought it would be easy but it wasn’t about half of them died
They had defense bunkers as well and they must of felt a little scared in the end they must of felt better that they won but most of them died some lived but most wounded.
